Important North Carolina Election Dates
If you are a registered voter in North Carolina, it’s important you are aware of the upcoming important election dates. While this is general information found in the 2010 Primary Voter Guide published by the North Carolina State Board of Elections, it is important you check with your local election board for additional details.
Sample Ballots:
North Carolina publishes sample ballots for voters to preview prior to voting. If you would like to view your North Carolina sample ballot, you may do so here.
One Stop Voting:
Save time in Line. One Stop absentee voting begins on April 15, 2010. If you missed the voter registration deadline you may register at a one stop location and vote. One Stop ends on May 1, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Some counties may have extended hours for the last day so be sure to double check with you local North Carolina election board.
Absentee Voting:
Mail-in Absentee Ballot request deadline is April 27, 2010.
Mail-in Absentee Ballot must be received by May 3, 2010.
Election Day Voting:
Election Day polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.
