Veterans Day 2013
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s easy to get carried away naming the everyday comforts we’re thankful for. Among those blessings, we most often count our families that love and support us, the food in our bellies, the shelter above our heads, our employment that helps pay the bills, and our health. It’s easy to forget to be thankful for something that we might not see, or notice day-to-day. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
Not so fast. What’s top-of-mind at Printelect is our freedom and those who serve and have served to protect it. Maybe it’s because we’re in the elections industry and we’re hyper-patriotic people? Or maybe it’s because our headquarters are located just a short drive from 6 major military bases? Or maybe it’s just because we’re just caring folks. Either way, we are most ardently thankful for the privileges we have as Americans, albeit too many to name, they’re all a product of the people who have defended our freedom both past and present.
No compilation of words can do it justice. It’s our lifestyle – the aggregation of our thoughts, habits, words, and actions, that most effectively communicate our appreciation for America’s Veterans.
We encourage you, your workplace, and your friends and family, to take time and thank a Veteran today, tomorrow, and the next. Happy Veterans Day!
